The community of Mormon Lake is located in Coconino County just southeast of Flagstaff along Highway 3 near Mormon and Ashurst lakes.

Mormon Lake is the largest natural lake in Arizona. The community is located about 30 miles southeast of Flagstaff. The lake is dry most of the year. The village was originally settled by Mormon dairy farmers and now hosts visitors from all around the area seeking relief from the heat during the summer.

Exhibition buildings and grounds include the Agriculture Center, Arizona Plaza Building, Avenue of Flags, Cattle Barns, Exhibit Building, Grandstand-Arena, Hacienda Home Arts Center, Wesley Bolin Building, and the Party Gras.
